The first sprouts should appear in 3-4 days, then the bed can be opened. When the arugula grows, thin it out. Lettuce bushes should ideally be at a distance of 5 cm. You will receive your first harvest in 3 weeks.

Another option is to first grow seedlings, and only then plant them in open ground. The most convenient way is to plant the seeds in seedling cups, 3-4 pieces each, and place them on a well-lit windowsill or balcony.

There is no need to pick up grown seedlings. The contents of the cup are immediately planted in the ground. If all the seeds have sprouted, it is worth dividing the contents of the glass into two wells.

You need to care for arugula plantings just like other greens: loosen and weed in a timely manner. Rucola does not like the scorching sun. It is better if the bed is in partial shade.
